MIMS Charitable Trust; a shining beacon is paving the way to accessible premium healthcare for the underprivileged masses. It is empowering poor people in their fight against ill-health. MIMS Charitable Trust primarily works towards helping children and adult with life threatening conditions needing surgical intervention and to receive sponsorship for expensive medical procedures. This altruistic gesture is to foster an environment of improved the “Save a Heart Save a Life”,quality of life. Giving people good health is giving them hope for a better life. MIMS Charitable Trust helps financially weak parents of children  suffering from heart defects in immediate need of surgical intervention. It is a benevolent response to an imminent misfortune. Cardiac surgeries for economically weak patients were undertaken through where philanthropists sponsored their treatments, medicines, operative and post operative care. MIMS Charitable Trust anticipates helping many more in the same plight through this scheme. This forethought, wisdom and action will continue uninterrupted and our only ardent wish is that donations and sponsorships to the Trust keep pouring incessantly.

Living with a heart ailment is terrifying, but MIMS Charitable Trust ensures that no one is left to wallow in their misery. Dedicated doctors, medical professionals and hospital administrators carry the expertise to understand the prognoses and offer superior medical care with financial aid to the needy. The downtrodden burdened with diseases and unable to afford expensive procedures, can look towards recovery through the help of philanthropists associated with MIMS Charitable Trust. The Trust sponsors various programmes, bypass surgeries for the poor, subsidized dialysis for renal patients and paediatric cardiac surgery. A Rural Health Centre equipped with a lab, pharmacy, doctors and a dedicated team takes care of poor people in a village called Vazhayoor. Some highlights of MIMS Charitable Trust’s activities:

The yeoman service rendered by MIMS Charitable Trust is an example for the others in the community to emulate.

  • It offers Free Charity Beds for poor patients.
  • It finances the education of poor and        deserving students in MIMS Academy        through yearly scholarships.
  • A Zakath Fund is maintained for individuals        desirous of donating their Zakath.
  • The Trust has a ventilator in the Paediatric        Cardiology Department to be used free of        cost for poor neonatal patients.
  • Poor patients undergoing continued        dialysis are supported by the Trust at        subsidized rates.
  • MIMS Charitable Trust operates a full fledged        Rural Health Centre in Vazhyoor (a village).
